Von Vonni Transformer Dress & Bill Hallman Coat

I love this dramatic, flowing black lace fishtail dress (on my Christmas wish list!)

StyleOnTheCouch Loves: Ritva Westenius & Aruna Seth Bridal

Hello again, Blog Reader – it’s back to StyleOnTheCouch after a trip home to London and a whirlwind tour of the beautiful south-west of Turkey. I really appreciate all of the tweets and continued comments whilst I was away – thank you.  I have several travel posts I can’t wait to share about my trip along with the fashion along the way but I’m starting with the reason I was in Turkey in the first place.  My beautiful Psychologist-friend married her fiance on the beach near the Blue Lagoon.

Although I had intended to wear a BCBG maxi for the wedding, in the end the early evening ceremony saw me do a quick last-minute switch and wear instead my black Von Vonni Transformer Dress.  You might have seen this dress on the blog before when I was trying out the different ways in which to style it – the somewhat Grecian style draping just lent itself perfectly to the wedding setting.

The beautiful bride wore a gorgeous gown from London label Ritva Westenius.  This mother and daughter team have a heavenly collection of classic bridal gowns and I adored my friend’s choice.

Her shoes were by Aruna Seth - the Colette Ivory Satin Wedges.  Perfect for dancing the night away….. (belly dancing and flame twirling also featured at the wedding – we Psychologist types are rarely boring*.)

After the wedding I had a little time to recover before meeting another friend and setting off to explore some of the coastline around the location of the wedding.  More posts to come, but this little piece of romance to start the journey.

Many thanks to my friends for letting me use their images here xo
