Lover The Label Rosebud skirt WIlliam WIlliams Photographer lover the labelLover the Label get to me every time with their wonderful lace creations.  This, their Rosebud skirtis a beautiful floral motif skirt with dipped hemline, exclusive to Net a Porter.  The cherry leavers lace is a stand out colour, perfect with blacks and neutrals to create a chic and feminine evening outfit. I wore this recently on date night and couldn’t have felt happier :)

Lover have a wonderful selection of dresses and separates on their site. You can buy their pieces online, from Net A Porter, Forward by Elyse Walker or by contacting their Sydney, Australia store.

Thank you to William Williams for the photos.

I believe in kissing, kissing a lot.  I believe in being strong when everything goes wrong. I believe that the happiest girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day. And I believe in miracles.” – Audrey Hepburn

Undoubtedly my new Jimmy Choo pumps would get a big thumbs up from Audrey.  They certainly make me feel happy! I get lots of questions about these shoes when I wear them (along with raised eyebrows of surprise I am stepping out, quite literally, in colour.)

I love to style them with my favourite black pieces and have the eye drawn to my feet; here I’m wearing my Helmut Lang leather jacket (are you tired of seeing this yet? No? Good, me neither!) Gap skinnies and simple tee from ASOS.  Sunglasses are once again stolen from American Boyfriend because let’s be honest, Jimmy Choo plus Gucci is a pretty feel good factor all round :)

These Anouk pumps from Choo are beautifully curved with a 4.8 inch heel height.  For those of you stiletto geeks it is a truly well proportioned shoe, something Choo must know well as the style is available in many different colours. I’m a huge fan of the silver pump in metallic leather and the jade green snakeskin effect pair.  If you can’t stretch to Choo prices then check out LKBennett for similar styles – my friend Anna of South Molton St Style models a fabulous pair of their green pumps HERE.

I left LFW yesterday, Blog Reader, having attended the Holly Fulton show at ME London and catching up with the lovely Notting Hill Girl and South Molton Street Style.  It was so interesting being at London Fashion Week rather than New York this season – London has multiple show venues which seems to bring a unique and exciting energy to the proceedings, yet as a result it doesn’t quite feel as polished at the events at the Lincoln Center.  There certainly feels like more individuality on the streets however; a greater display of colour and mixing of trends in attendees in contrast to the uniform sleekness of Manhattan (which, I must say, I love the place for!)

After a few days running around London in heels, seeing both new and established designer collections emerge, meeting some of my favourite blogger friends and arranging other catch-ups then stolen over coffee, I find myself with a few days to relax.  In between fashion week and moving home for a new job I’m all about lounging.  I’ve even hung up my harnesses for a while, Blog Reader :)

This is where sporty sweaters and skinny jeans come in, and a cup of Earl Grey at that.  Here are more of my blogger off duty favourites:

Reiss Lupo Apricot Neon Trim Jumper, 89 GBP

Ash Wedge Trainers, 185 GBP

Lounge Lover Asymmetric Trouser, 119 GBP

Anything by Zoe Karssen….

Paige Denim boyfriend jeans and

Mango basic tees, from 14.99 GBP

With thanks to William Williams for the photos.  ’Normal’ fashion blogger service will resume on Thursday!
