I’m super excited to bring you my first Friday lingerie feature for 2013, with a focus on one of the most fashion forward lingerie brands in the UK, Lascivious. Usually a label to stick to monochrome for their deeply sexy designs, for spring summer Lascivious have a strong focus on colour: vibrant yellows (Heidi, the very essence of summer), hot corals (Nenah and Helena) and cyan blue (Alicia). It is indeed a riot of brights with a 90s-inspired feel – the Tyra Cropped Tee being top of my lingerie-wish-list right now.
Along with colour, the eye-catching elements of the collection stem from the new shapes incorporated within the designs. Inspired by geometric patterns and basket weaving techniques, Lascivious present a very modern collection with teasing cut outs, contrasting binding and weave applique detail.
A collaboration with leather wear designer Tamzin Lillywhite completes this fiercely contemporary jump into 2013. This collection is deserving of a lingerie feature of its own at a later date, so watch this space, Blog Reader!

I think that lingerie will always take a backseat to clothing for me, but I must say, that delicate ribbon harness in the middle left photo has me seriously contemplating a Sarah-esque harness outfit. It’s just too lovely!
