Those of you who follow my adventures in fashion on Twitter and Instagram may be familiar with my recent (though seemingly, never-ending) search for the perfect pair of skinny denim jeans. The big denim hunt was not going too well but then I received a lovely email from Jeanography who offered to work with me to find my perfect fit pair.
Jeanography are an online shopping destination offering expertise in the best fitting, best looking designer denim brands such as 7 for All Mankind, Hudson and Citizens of Humanity. They suggested I might try their Fit First Time service, where I would select different styles and receive additional expert fit and styling advice to ensure I got the perfect match. The whole process works like this:
1. You simply select three pairs of jeans from the Jeanography website. My selection: 7 For All Mankind Cristen Skinny in Mimi; Hudson Jeans Nico Super Skinny in Black and Hudson Jeans Beth Crop Baby Bootcut in White
2. You place your order via the site, after which you will be contacted by Jeanography’s in house denim stylist who will confirm you have selected the right fit for your fashion needs based on your size and shape. It was at this point that I had a conversation about the rise of the skinny jeans I had selected and was advised to try the Hudson jeans because they might work well for me.
3. The jeans are sent special delivery to your home where you can try on all three pairs in the comfort of your living room and simply return any jeans that don’t fit within seven days. Jeanography will only charge you for the pairs you have kept.
I kept the pair that I had been advised to try by Jeanography’s in house stylist. The Hudson Nico Super Skinny was the answer to my denim prayers! A lovely fit and smart jet black colour, I couldn’t be happier. Thank you to Jeanography for the gift of the jeans and for letting me try your service, I would recommend it highly to anyone needing help finding the perfect pair.
