StyleOnTheCouch Loves: Temperley London (Temperley for Filofax)

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Alice Temperley boutique in Notting Hill and take part in a style challenge with other bloggers (South Molton St Style, It’s A LDN Thing and Miss Drifted Snow White).  Our mission was to select pieces from Alice Temperley’s Cruise collection and style them around the violet Filofax Alice designed in collaboration with the brand.  I have an image of Filofax as stuffy and old-fashioned – Temperley has brought them right up to date with this smart leather number with a touch of vintage glam.

The Temperley store is a wonderful symbol of all things great in British fashion.  Slightly distracted from the challenge at times with all the wonderful clothes in store (I tried on an amazing lace jumpsuit, you may have seen Kate Middleton with the dress version recently) I finally left the challenge with the Dita pencil skirt and the Judy blouse to style:

You can find my looks here and here on the Filofax Facebook page.  Please like my looks! You can also view the other bloggers’ styles here.

Thank you to South Molton St Style for the photos and do, Blog Reader, be sure to check out some of the amazing designs Temperley has in store right now – the Vivienne is the perfect little black dress and if you are on the look out for leather – check out Hazel.

Dear Sarah, first of all I hope you had a great birthday (well from your Instagram pictures it looked so)! I really like Alice Temperley for the feminine silhouettes of her designs and the boho touches. You chose a beautiful ensemble and I can imagine that it could be very difficult to maintain the concentration around so many clothes and temptations!

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to finally get a chance to comment on this post – I fell in love with this look (particularly since it is accessorised with the most chic organiser I’ve ever seen) when I saw it on instagram and, in larger form, it’s even more beautiful. The lace skirt is absolutely divine, although honestly, I don’t know how, in a room full of Alice Temperley clothing, you managed to narrow your choice down to two pieces at all…!
