Friday Lingerie Lust: Fortnight Lingerie Asteria 2013

For spring summer 2013, Fortnight Lingerie‘s Asteria: Twenty Thirteen collection is influenced by postmodern design, geometric shapes and architecture and inspired by films such as Kubrick’s 2001: Space Odyssey.  It is an exciting collection because the brand have released more styles and colours than before – my favourite additions being the bandeau bra (seen before on the blog here) and the contour slip, below:

Fortnight have given us a solid bold colour palette of magenta, vermilion and cyan this season.  This set below is quite striking:

You can view a teaser video for the new collection here.  As a lingerie brand, Fortnight are a perfect balance of luxurious comfort and modern style.  Asteria: Twenty Thirteen will be available to buy later in the year.

You can buy Fortnight at Journelle, Faire Frou Frou and Forty Winks.

What a gorgeous collection! I think you may do it more justice than the editorial images from the lookbook, in all honesty :) Although I must say, I don’t know how you keep the pace with all of the lingerie lines… there seems to be as many of them, if not more, than there are clothing lines!

I think, Cee, it is a matter of me being an avid reader of all the lingerie journals in order to keep up. Having said that I do feel amazed that the lingerie brands do seasons just like the fashion brands. I love that!
