Friday Lingerie Lust: Bordelle Bridal

As we enter wedding season, this is my first Friday feature dedicated to bridal lingerie.  One of my favourite labels, the UK based team at Bordelle have produced a wonderful new collection of bridal designs in keeping with their provocative and sexy aesthetic.

I was very lucky to see some of the pieces from this collection back in February when I visited the Bordelle team in London.  Sticking with signatures such as the cage dress, waspie and open cup bra, Bordelle work with a stark white, creamy champagne and blush colour scheme and play with some delightful new fabric textures.  Tulle and hand crafted lace bring a softer, lighter touch to their classics.

My favourite pieces from the new collection are the Confetti Lace Angela Dress (top image, third along) and the Gia Shelf Bra and Bettie High Waist Brief (below, left).

What shouldn’t go unnoticed about the new line however are the wonderful accessories that compliment the lingerie.  A series of bracelets, pearl garters and nipplets have also been produced.

So there you have it. Get thee to the altar……!

Select pieces from Bordelle’s new bridal collection are now available at Mis En Cage - a place I really need to visit in Paris – and will be launching soon on the Bordelle Website.  Images: Bordelle, Mis En Cage, Petite Coquette.

Have a lovely weekend, Blog Reader! StyleOnTheCouch xo

Note: Bordelle recently collaborated with the charity Oxfam and supermodel Daphne Self on ‘The Big Bra Hunt‘, re-working a Jean Paul Gaultier classic. Their Daphne Conical Body is available to buy online, with 15% of proceeds donated to Oxfam’s campaign in aid of Senegalese women living in poverty.  Congrats Bordelle for both your amazing design and working so hard for this cause!

Very pretty….and I like the ballet influence in the designs! Beautiful satin, ribbons and peplum detail….making it feminine, fun and sexy at the same time! Thank you so much for the very lovely comment on my 1920s post! And apologies for the delay in replying…..but hope you will have a fabulous weekend!

Hi May – no worries! Thanks for stopping by…. I think for their bridal collection they did so well to stick to their aesthetic but craft it with a more softer, feminine touch. Have a great weekend yourself, sun is shining in Manhattan, hope it it with you x

Wow. Your Friday lingerie posts never cease to amaze and I must say, I’m wishing this one had come sooner – you know, in time for my wedding that was almost two years ago :) Although I’m sure my husband wouldn’t mind if I picked up one of these lovely designs just for fun. I don’t know if I’ve ever told you, but he reads your Friday posts almost more enthusiastically than I do…!

You always come up with great lingerie finds!! These are fantastic, almost Herve Leger bondage-ish like! Glad that it’s doing good for charity too besides being kinky ;)
