Friday Lingerie Lust: Wundervoll

I recently wrote about retro lingerie designs, so today I’m transporting us to a long time ago in a galaxy far far away with Berlin based lingerie label Wundervoll.  With collections such as Deep Space and Sunset Mission, Wundervoll impress me with their futuristic designs mixed with a hint of art deco.  The fabrics are interesting – satin and lycra paired with jersey – but it is the panels and trim that make the collection unique for me (picture second to last – infinity bra and constellation panty: I love this look!)

The Fall collection from Wundervoll (Deep Space, below) is a really unusual colour palette of slate grey and dusty violet.  Not your average lingerie colour.  And yes, I’m going to use the Barbarella reference again, because to me this is just the sort of thing she would be wearing on her spaceship, which means of course I love it:

In the US you can buy Wundervoll at Journelle and Lille Boutique.  In the UK try Bordello. A full list of stockists can be found on the Wundervoll website.

Happy weekend! xo

Many thanks for Le Choix Trois for letting me know about this label.

The fact that one designer can come up with such polar collections as Deep Space and Sunset Mission had me a bit skeptical, to be honest, but as I scrolled through the images in your post, that melted away immediately. The retro-inspiration for these designs makes them instantly appealing to my slightly elderly sensabilities (I also love hard candies and complex card games like cribbage.) If you could track down a line that is make Marilyn-style cone bras, I would probably be in heaven :)
