Christmas Lingerie Shopping: Faire Frou Frou

Luxury boutique and online retailer Faire Frou Frou is another of my favourite places to shop for lingerie.  Owners Alison and Gail Rubke have a phenomenal range of labels for you to choose from, including HuitMaison Close, Ari Dein and Made by Niki.  The online site has some lovely features.  Their ‘wish list‘ is a small collection of lingerie and accessories hand-picked by Alison and Gail at a range of price points that make fantastic gift ideas.  The highly glamorous hosiery page is a must read for anyone who still buys a 3 pack of tights for £5 from their local department store*.

I was able to visit the Faire Frou Frou boutique during my trip to Los Angeles over the summer.  The boutique is lovingly laid out with a variety of collections lining the walls and Alison and Gail’s selections displayed in the centre.  These amazing Fifi Chachnil briefs caught my eye:

I loved the vintage chests and mirrors at Faire Frou Frou.

Faire Frou Frou also has an amazing blog which demonstrates limitless styling options for lingerie. It inspires me to find the pieces that I want to wear rather than those I have simply stuck with for ages, and is one of my go-to reads to find out about new collections and designers.

They are also a site to watch out for in the sales – you can find some fabulous discounts at select times of the here at the boutique and online store.

Doing any last minute lingerie shopping? Get thee to Faire Frou Frou.

*Alright, alright, we all do this (me included) but this page is perfect inspiration for glamorous tights and stockings.

I want to live in this space. Bubbles, vintage chests, and frilly things at every corner. This is what a shop should look like. Thanks for bringing it to us! I will definitely check out the blog (though you know I need to get my Maison Close at FortyWinks:)
